McKenna Montgomery
Salt Lake City, Utah

McKenna Montgomery has 8 years of experience in landscape architecture both as a designer and project manager.  She has worked on a diverse number of projects locally and internationally that span various scales and climates.

McKenna received her undergraduate in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning from Utah State University and later received her master’s in landscape architecture in Germany where she focused on urban design and natural swimming pool design under specialist Wolfram Kirche.

Growing up in a small town and spending the majority of her time outside in nature McKenna has a commitment to connecting people with natural systems.  Living in Europe also gave her the perspective of how well-designed cities, efficient transportation systems, and accessible green spaces create a better quality of life for people. She loves the design process and community engagement part of work and hopes to use her career in landscape architecture as a means of service to others and her local community.

“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody.”
― Jane Jacobs, The Death and Life of Great American Cities
