Cibola Vista is more than just a resort—it’s a chance to discover the Southwest. EPG designed the resort to physically represent a figurative journey through the history of the area. Starting at the upper levels of the resort, visitors begin their journey in the present, and walking through the other levels, visitors go further back in history, all the way to 1500 AD. Each level of the resort has a distinct theme, including Native American history, the Wild West, and all the architectural elements of each level build on that level’s theme. From a hitch post in the town square, to a citrus grove, to an ancient ball court. Together, these details transport visitors back in time to feel like they’re discovering a hidden historical landscape. A combined experience of history and luxury.
